Sampultu loads, chops, downloads, and backs up every one of the 200 slots on a Korg volca sample 2 — over the USB cable that's already in the box. Drop in any audio file and it lands at the volca's native 31,250 Hz.
What it does
WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG — even the audio track of a video. Sampultu downmixes and resamples to the volca's native 31,250 Hz 16-bit mono before it sends.
Pull any slot off the device and save it — including the factory samples. Your library is never trapped on the hardware.
Slice one long sample into pieces spread across the pads, with the START and LENGTH values worked out for you. No hand-entering trim points on the hardware.
Pull the drums, vocals, or bass out of a mix and sample just that. The models download once, then the whole thing runs on your device, offline.
Group samples into sets and lay them out the way you actually play, then push a whole bank to the device at once.
Back up all 16 sequences, or capture the entire state of the instrument into a snapshot you can restore in one move. A safety net before a gig.

How it works
Sampultu speaks USB-MIDI SysEx to the volca sample 2 directly — the same published protocol Korg's own librarian uses, written from Korg's "volca sample2 MIDI Implementation" document. No Syro audio transfers, no holding your laptop's headphone jack up to the device, no waiting through a modem screech to load one drum hit.
Requires volca sample 2 firmware 1.10 or later and the USB cable.
